Simple birthday celebration for mum

As days go by, everyone gets older. So, it's mum's 46th birthday and she wanted vegetarian as dinner so we went to a vegetarian restaurant in ss2. We ordered like 6 dishes in total. The food taste kinda decent but mum's happy and that's all that matters.

The cake part was kinda spontaneous, we went to secret recipe for the cake like super last minute. Dad actually wanted to get the fruit cake for her but it's a little bit pricey and huge compared to blueberry cheese cake. So eventually we chose blueberry cheese cake as the birthday cake because mum doesn't fancy chocolate stuff. She's more like a healthy kinda person and she loves sour food like green apple and lemon.

Saw my friend posted Miley Cyrus' new song and the video thumbnail looks fine so I decided to check it out. Now seriously, what the hell happened to her? From a sweet and innocent looking Disney girl to someone.. daymm! I'm just, beyond speechless.
Like seriously, look at the amount of dislikes she had on YouTube. I mean like, it's not as terrible as Rebecca Black's Friday video but it's still BAD, BAD, BADDD.

I mean, I'm not exactly a fan of her since day 1. Something about her just don't seem to fascinate me no matter how/ what. (Sorry to Miley's fans, I'm just voicing out my opinion. PEACE.)

Speaking of Disney stars, I remember back then when I was younger, I used to admire Hilary Duff A LOT. I would watch all her movies and series like "Lizzie McGuire movie", "A cinderella story", "Lizzie McGuire series" etc. And every time, I would beg my parents to buy me her cds. She's just like a role model to me during my childhood days.

Frankly speaking, I actually kinda miss being young and naive. Back then, all I did was go to school, come home, watch Disney channel/ cartoon network/ nickelodeon and draw. (Well, I guess that's how I got my creativity from.) 

Being a kid is so fun, life is so stress-free and worryless. All I had was stickerbook, crayons, color pencils, painting colors and paper. But now it's even better because I found someone that truly loves me, and that's my boyfriend. Even though there were times we disagree with each other and we quarrel massively, but one thing that keeps this relationship on and on is, we love each other genuinely. I hope this will last for a long long time. They say "forever is an utter bullshit/a lie", but I strongly believe that we can make it through..

Up and down like a rollercoaster.

Presentation went well today but our 11th monthsary didn't turn out to be the way we expected it to be. We were supposed to head to somewhere but we didn't.. What else could go worse? MEH. Arguments can be really hurtful in relationship, seriously.

My day was like a roller coaster; it was awesome at the beginning but bad at the end. That fine moment when you actually thought your entire day's gonna be splendid and productive, you're wrong. Sometimes, it's better not to expect or think so highly of something, it will only lead to disappointment. #fact #hashtagonbloggerlol

So, I had to delay my dinner because I'm not heading out and mum's not cooking tonight. Prolly just gonna have a slice of bread with Nutella jam spread. MMMM, Nobody can resist the awesome Nutella.. I mean, who doesn't love Nutella? That person deserves a tight slap! SERIOUSLY. Lol. Okay, kidding. Calm yo tities down. So yeah, there goes my late dinner.

SIGH SIGH SIGH.. I just sincerely hope that my day will go up again soon. Sucks to be me right now..
Have you all heard of a movie called Pitch Perfect? If not mistaken, I think it was released last year. (Yeah, outdated I know *sobs*) Watched the trailer the other day and I kinda got fascinated, the songs sounded really awesome and original. So, if you guys haven't watched that movie, do check it out because I'm going to right now so, see you amigos!^_*

Long and hectic day.

Hey people! Just came back from college and I'm SO SO SHOOO tired, can collapse any time I swear. Had a super long and hectic day at college today, from 9am-5pm. My first class ended at 12pm and second class started from 2pm-5pm. 
During the 2 hours break in between, I did my presentation slides at my classmate's house. Yeah, gonna have presentation tomorrow so WISH ME LUCK? :3
 I admit I actually had a hard time concentrating on the slides due to the disturbance and noisy environment. Her grandma was constantly talking to me and her two brothers disturbed me like, saying hi for a few times & giving me his pokemon cards. But they were so adorable, ERMAGAD. How I wish to have a lil bro who's that cute. (P.S. Oopss. sorry Lawton! I love you still. You're still my irreplaceable younger bro. x) BAHAHA. 
So, after we left her house, we went to music cafe for lunch and I ordered butter cream chicken with rice. Lunch was satisfying, super.

 Second class was good, although it's tiring. My lecturer always know how to come up with many different types of class activities to keep us active in class. Compared to the other subjects, I actually prefer going to her classes more because it's fun and interesting. One of my favourite lecturers.. yeah, you can call her Ms Yenn.

Went to Sasa after class with mum to get dinner for family and some make up for my upcoming photoshoot on this Sunday. Got myself new fake lashes, lashes glue, lipstick, and mascara. YAYYY! Happy girl is happy appie.

Love shopping with mummy, she's always the best friend, listener, companion and so many more. 

Tea time at De'Amour cafe. (The haze ain't stopping us)

It was 10 something and right after our dinner, we decided to go for some tea at Dataran Sunway. While wandering around, we eventually passed by and spotted this newly-opened vintage style cafe and it caught our eyes, so we decided to walk in and give it a try. 
Overall, the crepes were awesome but it's a little pricey, RM7.80 per slice. They could have given a bigger slice for us instead. 
Tea, we ordered Jasmine tea. It sorta taste like, English version of Chinese tea but it's good. Love spending time with my love one, cherish all the silly and cheesy moments with him.

Dinner with the fam.

Home sweet home! Just came back from dinner and I feel so bloated. Ermagad. Can dai.
We went to a taiwanese style restaurant nearby my uni, it's known as wings music cafe. Overall, the environment was decent, very taiwanese style (Not much of a fan. JELAK. x.x ), and the food and services were kinda disappointing- It took almost 30 minutes for my food to arrive & the food taste plain. If I were to rate em', it'd be 4/10?
But on the positive side, I managed to spend some quality time with my family, and I like their concept "Good music good friends".

These are the dishes we ordered (All taken by iphone 4):
 
1) Spaghetti bolognese. 

2) Bacon sandwiches.

 

3) Bacon salad.

 

4) Cheese fish fillet along with salad and fries as side dishes.

5) Lemon flavored fish fillet with potato wedges, boiled eggs and sliced lettuce as side dishes.

6) Grilled chicken chop with mashed potato, sliced lettuce and boiled eggs as side dishes. (My dish)

7) Set-dessert: Pudding with some red beans.

I AM BACK AFTER 1319784592 DAYS!

Hi lovelies, it's been a while I updated my blog, I KNOW RIGHT. This year has been treating me well. Ups & downs, as usual. Not to mention about it, why/how/what/when.

I'm gonna start off with the weather these days. The weather in Malaysia drives me insane. YEAHHH, you have no freakin idea how hot is it that I even sweat in the air-cond room. I think if I place a raw egg outside for less than an hour, it will be cooked instantly. LMAO!
Not only the weather is driving me crazy, but also the haze that came from Indonesia. (Thank you so much seriously, thankyou.)
I just hope it won't be as bad as the primary school days back in 2005 where the schools and other places had to be shut off temporarily.

Secondly,
I'm really glad that I got 3.5 cgpa for my last semester's result. It was a very tough semester indeed and I actually thought that I was gonna fail a subject and my cgpa would be less than 3.0. Frankly speaking, I'm not like one of those studious type of person that study 24/7 (I think I'll go cuckoo if I do), but I worked really hard last semester. I remember my group had certain conflicts and dramas throughout the assignment discussion and I had to like, agree with their ideas to avoid arguments. (So intense x.x) WELL, we can't be always self-centered, right? Give and take it is!
Anyway, I'm glad that I could still achieve that result after all the hard times. Blessed. <3

Another thing is I have no idea what to purchase for my boyfriend on his birthday. I swear, it's so difficult to get an appropriate and a meaningful gift for a guy besides writing a card, printing out all the photos and many other mainstream gifts.. (Been there, done that.) It's gonna be our 1st year anniversary and his birthday so I definitely need to buy a bigger gift for him. And in case if you're wondering why do our anniversary falls on his birthday, Yea, I accepted him last year on his birthday. TEEHEEE. *shy*
